We want to adopt a kiwi at Orana Park

We've learned a lot about Native Birds this term.

We brainstormed some fundraising ideas and decided to have a Pyjama Mufti Day.
After all, kiwi are nocturnal!

We thought long and hard..... and
decided our very own
Pop-Up Cupcake Sale
was a
great idea!

Thank you so very much to you all for your support.

Kiwi are endangered.

We will help our Native flightless birds!

Making traps

What bird predators are in our school grounds?
We investigated.

We made a sign...

Traps
Please leave them

We put bird seed and peanut butter in a yellow container.
We put white paper on the floor of the grey container.
We put wet red paint on a sponge hoping
our bird predators will use it as a door mat.

We left it overnight.

Will there be any footprints?

Ronald McDonald

Look who we found at our very own school, Ronald McDonald!

Before we cross the road, we stop,

 we look,

we listen.

Cricket

We listened.  We learnt.

We played cricket warm up games.

Who wants a turn?

We all played 2 Ball Smash 'n' Run!

Fun!
